Job description
GARAGE DOOR INSTALLERS Assembling and installing various types of RESIDENTIAL garage doors and openers. Ability to troubleshoot repair issues for all types of sectional overhead doors. This position will also repair garage doors, operators, replace springs, cables and photo eyes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Skilled with hand tools and power tools. Installers need to provide their own tools.
- Responsible for loading materials at warehouse and unloading at site.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required. A company vehicle and gas card will be provided. Installer is responsible for the appearance (both inside and out) of the vehicle.
- Positive attitude with superior customer service skills.
- Regularly using a ladder and lift to install springs, cables and openers.
*This is a physically demanding job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds or more with assistance.
