Job description
Service wholesale, dealer and high volume accounts and promote commercial and residential sales in the north metro area of Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Representative
- Complete estimates and sales orders with dealer, wholesale and high volume accounts.
- Exhibit discipline and resourcefulness to meet customer expectations and possess drive to grow business.
- Enter quotes and orders into our Viking ERP system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review customers' credit status, monitor customer accounts on a weekly basis to ensure they remain in good standing. Work closely with Credit Department when needed.
- Assist walk in customers with product sales.
- Ability to pre-measure door openings and make recommendations for materials needed to successfully install doors and openers in standard and non-standard openings.
- Research, organize, and present sales report results as required to your Manager.
- Continually learn new product features and assess current product inventory and availability.
- Assist with incoming phone calls for service and general questions.
*The employee is regularly required to sit for 8 hours per day. Long hours on computer keyboard and phone. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally need to walk and stand in the showroom for 30-45 minute periods to help customers select garage doors and product.
